The ticket form was calling for me. I slowly pressed it and
started to fill out the form. The next thing I knew, it was asking
for payment. I checked my piggy bank and my allowance to see
if I had enough. $57.25 I counted. Second class was only $40.00,
so I could go. I almost submitted the payment, just then, it hit
me. What about my family and friends? I quickly crept out of my
room and peeked out my door. I saw my parents cooking dinner
in the kitchen happily. If I le , I imagined in my head they
would stand there in sobs, not knowing what to do. I thought and
thought and thought. My brain said to go on the ship away from
all the life that haunts you every day. I sigh, close my door and
submit the ticket form. Every day now I have to check the mail
first to see if the ticket arrived. If my family found it, I was
doomed.
