odologies themselves of the pictures should be spontaneously blossomed.
The surface should thrust itself and be attached to each retina and body of
audiences, which cannot be realized by the theme instead of it.

작가의 근작은 막막한 공간에 기념비적으로 출현하는 꽃잎과 그 어딘가에 시간의
흐름이나 두께, 그리고 그것들이 껴안고 있는 여러 조각난 기억들에 대한 흔적들을
보여주고 있다. 최근 그림은 좀 더 간결하게, 회화적으로 보다 풍성하고 깊게 조율
되어 나오는 선에서 고려되거나 그 지점으로 기우는 듯하다. 오랜 작업 시간의 누
적만큼이나 다채로운 방법론과 여러 시도를 선보인 작가는 근작을 통해 설명적인
시간의 서술이나 익숙한 도상에 의한 연출에서 빠져나와 자신만의 감각으로 포착
한 시간에 대한 이미지를 ‘회화적’으로 풀어내려 한다. 자신만의 의미로 이룬 시간
의 개념을, 시간에 대한 유의미한 체험을 그림의 표면에 실어 밀고 나가려는 시도
가 그것이다
The recent work of the author shows the traces monumentally appearing in
boundless space, the flow and thickness of time somewhere around it and
those of many split memories contained by them. The recent picture is more
concise and painterly abundant, and seems to consider or incline to the lines
deeply coordinated. The author, who has exhibited various methodologies
and many attempts as her working hours are long accumulated, unravels im-
ages about time at the painterly level, which she captured with her own sens-
es, by escaping from the explanatory narrative about time or the production
using familiar icons. It is an attempt to push the concept of time, achieved
based on her own meanings and significant experiences of it by putting them
on the surface of the picture.
