작품컨셉
나의 작품은 공간과 시간을 구성하여 이차원 평면 위에 시각적 은유를 만
들어내고 은유속에 담긴 연상을 공간적, 시각적 언어로 표현하는 작업이
다. 현실과 가상의 모호한 경계에서 과거와 현재와 미래의 환영적인 이미
지를. 재현하거나 변용하여 화면을 완성해간다. 작품 속에 등장하는 이미지
들은 전혀 다른 공간과 시간에 존재하였던 사물을 동시에 혹은 비현실적으
로 배치하여 시공(時空)을 초월한 초현실적 공간을 극대화하고 무한공간의
metaphor로 작용하기도 한다. 즉 과거와 현재 그리고 미래를 아우르는, 현
실과 가상의 경계가 없는 공간과 과거와 현재와 미래의 모호한 시간의 흐
름을 구성한 것이다

Concepts of Works
My works create visual metaphors on 2-D planes by constructing
space and time, and express the associations embedded in metaphors
as spatial and visual language. The scenes are finished by reproducing
or changing illusory images of the past, the present and the future,
on an ambiguous boundary between reality and virtuality. The images
appearing in works maximize surrealistic space beyond both time and
space and also act as the metaphor of infinite space, by simultane-
ously or impractically arranging objects which have existed in differ-
ent spaces and times. In other words, they compose the space with-
out a boundary between reality and virtuality, which covers the past,
the present and the future, and the time with an ambiguous boundary
among the past, the present and the future.
