Multi-Lingual Capability
Development Surveys for a
Global Bank
Problem
A major organisation in the Financial Services industry, was
implementing an Organisation Effectiveness programme
which was being rolled out globally, one function at a
time. As part of the programme, every job role was clearly
defined and a validated capability framework developed,
attributing to the job role one of five proficiency levels.
Our client required a flexible and reliable survey tool that
would assess the levels of capability of employees within
a particular function and report results across teams,
countries and global regions globally.
Solution
IDG utilised their survey platform to create bespoke 180°
surveys for each different role. Surveys were required
for 14,734 respondents across six regions, 51 countries
and seven sub-functions, in eight languages. The process
enabled a participant to receive and complete an online
survey bespoke to their role. Their manager completed the
same survey for the participant, and the two then used the
generated report to drive a development conversation.
The report collected the two different responses,
highlighted any differences, and flagged potential areas for
improvement.
