                                                     Given actual clients with problems in oxygenations, fluid and electrolyte balance, metabolism and endocrine function, the students
                                                     will be able to:
                                                     CILO 1: Utilize the nursing process in the holistic care for the individual and their support system appropriate for the Philippine
                                                     health care setting.
                                                            a.  Assess collaboratively with the client their health status through collection of a thorough and appropriate nursing history
                                                               and physical examination and assisting in laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
                                                            b.  Identifying health care nursing needs based on collected subjective and objective data.
                                                            c.  Plan appropriate nursing interventions with the client related to identified nursing diagnoses.
                                                            d.  Implement appropriate, culture-sensitive, patient-centered plan of care with and for clients.
                                                            e.  Evaluate the progress of their client’s condition and outcomes of care.

                                                     CILO 7: On IZN, evaluate and integrate international health care practices and policies to enhance the management of
                                                     oxygenation, fluid and electrolyte balance, infectious diseases, inflammatory and immunologic responses, and cellular aberrations.
                                                     This includes understanding different health care models and adapting global best practices to local contexts.
                                                     CILO 8: On GAD, develop and apply gender-sensitive strategies in nursing care to ensure equitable health outcomes. This
                                                     involves recognizing and addressing gender-specific health needs and barriers in access to health care. Students will also explore
                                                     how gender roles and expectations affect the prevalence, diagnosis, and management of diseases related to the course topics.
                                                     CILO 9: On SDGs, demonstrate competency in providing evidence-based medical-surgical nursing care while contributing to the
                                                     achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
