Fly tipping is the term given to the
irresponsible and illegal act of dumping
waste on land or in water. It includes
liquid as well as solid material and
can come from households or
businesses. Fly-tipping Action
Wales reported over 35,000
fly tipping incidents last year,
which is estimated to have cost
£2 million to clean up.
A new type of litter that you
may also have noticed in the
last couple of years is single use
and reusable face coverings that
have been dropped on purpose or by
accident.
