Cone Nozzles-Disassembly
  Many large nozzles have a tab that can be used to pull out the insert.
The inserts can be removed from small cones nozzles by pushing it out with a gauge pin. Pay attention to the orientation of the insert!

Fan And Cone Nozzle Cleaning
• Remove the nozzles from the spray bars
• Disassemble the cones nozzles
• Remove loose debris by either rinsing in water or with compressed air.
• Soak the nozzles, and the inserts, in 10-15% hydrochloric acid to dissolve precipitates. Then rinse and blow dry.
• Install the inserts
