MEDIUM MECHANICAL CLEAN:
The Key Parameters for MEDIUM or AVERAGE Mechanical Clean machines are:
Ø CONVEYOR SPEED:
• Determines how long the brushes stay in contact with the metal surface
Ø BRUSH PRESSURE:
• Indicated by motor current. Constant current = consistent cleaning
Ø BRUSH OSCILLATION:
• Movement of the brushes forward and back on the metal surface
Ø BRUSH WEAR / CONDITION:
• Staggered loading causes more uniform wear on brush surfaces
• Brush Dressing restores a uniform brush diameter to correct for brush wear
