                                               Keeper training outline: To be done at practices after I

                                                        have had initial training to introduce the skill





       Warmups – Beginning of every practice




            1. Sit on the grass - feet forward.
                 One person throws the ball right side first then left alternating up to 10 per side.

                 Remind keepers catch with a “W”, land on arm flat no elbows and top leg is bent protecting

                 chest

            2. Squat like a frog and repeat same as above focus on landing
            3. One rolls one toss - 2 sets of 10. One goalie rolls, one goalie throws the ball simultaneously

                 and then switches roles. Focus on keeping body behind the ball and catching all balls above

                 head in a “W” and below the waist in an “M”.
            4. Punt catch - Keepers stand 10 yards apart distributing short punts to their partner. Focus on

                 punting technique and receiving
