Operational Excellence Coins

Congratulations to the following employees for being recognized with an Op-
erational Excellence Coin!

Robert Butler, Superintendent RIV was nominated by Kyle Wesley for his
October General Recognition Coin

Robert has continually gone above and beyond for both internal and external customers. Here are a few
examples:

• Bob is currently helping to put together the RIV training curriculum with the help of Robert Maddox.
• Bob was able to go from Canada to Los Angeles with very short notice to help complete an inspection
for an upcoming project. Bob was notified on Friday evening and made it there for the training early
Monday morning. This required scheduling a COVID test and arranging travel. He then proceeded to
get the inspection done within the customer’s timeline.

• Bob also went to assist with the inspection on the ONTC in Northern Ontario and made sure every-
thing was lined up as well as finding deficiencies in the truck that was to do the inspection. He then
made sure all parts for the repairs were ordered.
• Bob is instrumental in ensuring our new RIV operators are properly trained so that we do not have any
issues when they are working alone.
