FLEET VEHICLE UPDATES

           The Importance of Vehicle Maintenance

In our day to day operations, vehicle maintenance can be easy to overlook. Overlooking our vehicle maintenance not
only costs us money but puts us at higher risk of failing an inspection. While there is a cost associated with our vehi-
cle fleet maintenance, over the life of the vehicle it saves far more than it costs.
Vehicles that are properly cared for will run more efficiently, lowering fuel costs, suffer fewer breakdowns which
leads to lower rental costs. A well-maintained vehicle will also help Loram avoid penalties and fines when stopped by
         law enforcement for safety checks.
Downtime of a vehicle has a large impact on productivity and budget. When a vehicle is out of commission, we are
losing productivity our of our people and incurring a rental charge against our budget. Timely scheduled maintenance
can help reduce unexpected breakdowns without impacting the overall usefulness of our fleet.
Loram’s vehicle fleet being spread across North America can be viewed as a testament to the quality of our business
practices. Proper maintenance and taking care of our vehicles makes our fleet look professional to our customers
and the communities that we are in. Propper maintenance of our vehicle fleet will result in a better safety record,
fewer compliance issues, lower maintenance costs, lower fuel costs, higher customer satisfaction and higher disposal
values at the end of the assets lifecycle.
Remember, building our brand within the communities we work is an opportunity that you shouldn’t pass up. The
maintenance service providers we utilize across the continent are often the same ones we visit year over year. Build-
ing a strong brand relationship ship with them will only help when you need express or emergency service.
