Operational Excellence Coins

Congratulations to the following employees
for being recognized with an Operational
Excellence Coin in June and July!

Kevin Epperson, Rail Inspection Superintendent was nominated in June by
Tyson Brownlee, Manager Rail Grinding

On short notice Kevin flew to Mexico to inspect an additional line the
KCSM wanted to grind. Kevin’s exceptional coordination with the custom-
er, broker, and Loram management team lead to the inspection taking only
two total days when we were expecting it to take a week.
Kevin’s can-do attitude exemplifies the results oriented portion of the
ICARE values day in and day out. Kevin goes above and beyond to find so-
lutions to problems, and always does what’s best for the group. Great job
Kevin!

Gerald (George) Hollinger, Rail Inspection Superintendent RIV4 was nom-
inated in July by Tyson Brownlee, Manager Rail Grinding

George was highly commended by Daniel Hampton from the CSX Rail-
road for his pre inspection of the RGT demonstration work. George’s
inspection allowed us to showcase the RGT capabilities and set the crew
up for success. The customer was very happy with the outcome of the
demonstration, and George was at the forefront of the success.
George is always willing to go the extra mile for what’s best for the cus-
tomer as well as Loram. His experience and attention to detail are evi-
dent each and every day that he goes to work! Thanks George!
