OPERATIONS UPDATES
Operational Excellence Coins
Congratulations John Macneil, Machine Operator 3 RIV8
for being recognized with an Operational Excellence
Coin in April by Kyle Wesley, Manager, Rail Grinding!
While inspecting the Okanagan subdivision on the CN, John identified a severe defect
that required the replacement of the rail. Without his keen eye this may have gone
unnoticed. His safe work habits and attention to detail help to ensure a safe and pro-
ductive work environment. He has also shifted between RIV and the Water Trucks
when needed to help fill in gaps.
Congratulations Leroy Perkins, Crew Chief, DC7 for
being recognized with an Operational Excellence Coin
in April by Tyler Beebe, Manager, Ballast and Grade!
I would like to nominate Leroy Perkins for my April Operational Excellence Coin.
Leroy was key to a very successful and trouble-free April operation. Leroy stepped up
in his relief role, even having to stay longer due to superintendent illness, and received
customer compliments for his positive way of running the machine and crew.
