Operational Excellence Coins

Congratulations the following employee was recognized with an
Operational Excellence Coin in June!

Nicholas Spaulding, Superintendent SBC35 was nominated in June by Bo Hemberry, Manager Ballast and Grade

Nick Spaulding was issued an operation excellence coin based on his repeating high footage days, resulting in
work being completed well ahead of schedule. He also consistently maintains outstanding machine reliability and
customer compliments.

June Customer Compliment

The crew of RG419 in Australia received a customer compliment for Exceeding Expectations. David Knee, Aus-
tralian Rail Track Corporation Ltd. (ARTC) sent the following message to Stephen Mannix, Managing Director PTY:

I just wish to pass onto you my appreciation of all the hard work that has been done by the RG419 team
over the last quarter.
From a bit of a rocky start in February and early March, the recently completed work in May, particularly
on the troublesome Ulan line, has been of a high standard based on the Loram QA data submitted and ARTC ob-
servations on the ground to date.
Not many within ARTC can “see” what it has taken to get from where we were to where we are now with
RG419’s performance. The long, long hours, extensive travel, late night emails and phone calls, constant demand
from ARTC for this and that, COVID 19 and the sheer pressure to get 419 “singing”.
Well, I do and think it has been a fantastic team effort and I wish to pass on my thanks to you and the
team.
