Safety Boot Policy Reminder
The following is a correction to the Safety Boot Article that appeared in the May Field News. It is a procedural change
for the New Hires Purchasing Boots. The change is highlighted below. During the first year of employment Loram will
subsidize the cost of one pair of safety boots to a maximum amount of $100.
New hire field employees will be able to purchase a pair of safety boots from an onsite vendor during new hire
training. Anything above $100 will be payroll deducted from their first pay check. New hires will fill out the payroll
deduction form during the new hire class.
Nothing has changed in how employees purchase and receive boot reimbursement after entering the field. During the
second year of employment and each year going forward, the company will reimburse the cost of one pair of safety
boots up to a maximum reimbursement of $250 every 12 months. If you need to know your boot anniversary date,
you can check with Dawn Nelson the Field Relations Coordinator. She can be reached at 763-478-2257 or by email at
dawn.l.nelson@loram.com.
