St Patrick’s Day Parade Float

“Hey Sarah, we have a question to ask, would you

like to be the queen of our float?” asked Lisa,

“Yes! Plus I’ve already made a puffy A-line madras

dress, but, is the float ready?” asked Sarah. “Yes!

All we need to do is to get the truck to haul the
float on parade day,” replied Lisa.

“What are you talking about, all the trucks are
already taken for the other floats, some are

already decorated for the parade. You have two

days to get a truck, decorate it and get it to haul

the float on St Patrick’s Day,” said Sarah to
Tommy in a bossy way. Both Lisa and Tommy left

the bedroom and set out to Montserrat Arts

Council (MAC) to see if they had any more trucks

registered for the parade.

Minutes later, after their walk from Salem to Little
Bay, both of them went into MAC and spoke to

the head of the St Patrick’s Day Parade

Committee. They greeted the person at the front

desk. “Good afternoon Miss, I would like to speak

to the head of the St Patrick’s Day Parade
Committee, please!” asked Lisa.
