St Patrick’s Day Parade Float

“Just a moment,” replied the front desk clerk

helpfully as she got on the phone. Moments later,
she responded, “Go down the hall and knock on

the first door to your left.” Tommy knocked and

then a stern voice responded, “Come in!”

As we entered, we greeted a tall, older, serious and
stern-looking woman with a warm” Good

morning”. “We are here to speak about float

number eight not having a truck to carry our float,”

we said together. “I’m sorry but we are all out of
trucks at this time,” responded the woman. Lisa

and Tommy headed home filled with

disappointment.
