My Experience of the La Soufriere Volcano
The magma that was oozing from the domes in
the volcano was giving off an acidic odour of
strong sulfur, especially at night whenever the
wind blew downwards. Also, small earthquakes
were being felt leading up to the explosive
eruption. Most frighteningly, on the 5th of April
2021, which was Easter Monday, the earth shook
as if it had giants walking on it.
