Christmas
My other aunts and uncles spoke of a time when
they were sent to the mountains to milk the cows
and reap some ground provisions. On their way
home they saw a donkey which they took turns
riding . As usual, my mom wanted to be the star of
the show, so she began hitting the donkey on its
backside so it would go faster.
Faster and faster it went and down she came.
The donkey trampled her. She spent four days in
the hospital. It seemed as if she always got the
worst of their mischievous ways.
