The Legend of Grenada’s Blue Donkey
The camera was very important because he was
determined to get pictures for evidence of locating
the blue donkey. He would show them to all his
friends at school. He looked exactly like those
professional explorers in TV documentaries.
Phillip ran into the backyard and entered the
narrow trail next to his house to start the quest.
He knew exactly which location he wanted to
investigate first. He would need to hike a few
mountains to get to the magical Grand Etang Lake.
He suspected that the blue donkey would be
found in the forest area close by.
“Phillip!” A voice shouted his name loudly. Phillip
could not believe the donkey knew his name and
was calling him. Wow, this adventure was already
going better than he expected!
“Where are you? What are you doing?” the voice
said urgently. But the voice started to sound just
like his mom. Phillip was feeling very confused.
He didn’t understand why his mother was at the
magical lake…
