                                   6. Baku.
                                   7* Romo.
                                   8* Japan or Siam.
Afghan broadcasting cannot be heard properly in Kerman.

There is still no public radio station in Ker.-nan. This ia a
pity as it leads to the spreading of wild rumours which are readily-
believed. The news bulletin issued by this Consulate helps te steady
opinion, but it can only have a limited circulation* Public radios
would also be welcome and beneficial in Bam, Sirjan, Rafainjan as
                  these places have electric current.

Reading rooms have been opened during the year to the
following places, Kerman, Yezd, Bam, Rafsinjan and Sirjan. Besides
this arrangements have been made for propaganda material to be
available for public reading at the following places
                        Bandar Abbas.
                        Baft.
                        Zarand.
These reading rooms are doing well, especially in Kerman,
where many people gather to see the consulate daily news bulletin in
                 Fersian and other propaganda material.
The film "Target for To-night* was shown free to heads of
Departments, military officers, merchants and notables at Kerman
and Yezd. It was also shovm to the public for 10 days at each place.

Other British movitone news films are also shown in the local
cinemas at Yezd and Kerman and seen by 100-200 people daily. These
films ere having a good effect on the public, who ars now beginning
to realize the strength and resources behind the Allied cause.
