REPRESENTATION

7. Every member, whothor a fii'in or individual trader, shall bo
rcprooented by the or a proprietor or Manager. In the <saoc of
the Managing Committee only the olectod individuals shall
attend personally.

8. Every member shall be doeinod to be fully aware of all the
rules of the Association and its by-laws, if any, framed from
time to time, and no one will be entitled to plead ignarance.

FORFEITURE OP MEMBERSHIP
9. A member shall cease to be one in any of the following
events:
(a) BY VOLUNTARY RESIGNATION. A member wishing to resign
his membership shall submit an application to that effect in
writing to the Hony. Secretary who will place the same before
the Managing Committee at its next meeting. If tho member so
resigning is in arrears of the payment of his dues to tho
Association the Managing Committee shall have the discretion

to refuse or withhold acceptance of the resignation till such
arrears have been paid.
(b) BY COMPULSORY RESIGNATION OR EXPULSION. Any in­
fringement of the rules or by-laws, if any, of the Association
shall bo taken immediate notice of by the Managing Committee
and if the Managing Committee is convinced that the mernbor is
at fault and h±s actions or words aro detrimental to the pres­
tige or interests of the Association he shall be callod upon
to givo satisfactory explanation within a stated period. If
the member fails to submit satisfactory explanation as demand­
ed he shall be called upon to resign his membership within a
stated period. Should he fail to comply he shall be expelled
from the Association by a resolution to that effect passed by
the Managing Committee and served on such member through tho
Hony. Secretary. For the purpose of this rule, any responsi­
ble person representing a member to the satisfaction of the
Managing Committee commits the offense, the member concerned
shall be deemed to have committed it.
(c) BY NON-PAYMENT OF FEES. A member who fails to pay
his monthly subscription for 2 months shall be served with a
month's notice by tho Hony. Secretary within which to pay,and
if, even then, he fails to pay his dues he shall cease to a bo
a member on tho expiry of the third month and be otruck off
the Membership Roll of tho Association.
