                                            1 am reporting for your
                                  information some of tne events that took
                                  place during these few days in connection
                                  witn tne question of demand for reform in

                                  Bahrain.
                                   Bahrain Courts of Law.
                                          The people do not want that there
                                   should be two Courts, senior and junior;
                                   they want one Court only with five Judges
                                   and one President. They also ask for the
                                   dismissal of the Senior and Junior Court
                                   clerks.
                                          It is said that yesterday the
                                   following words were found written with
                                   chalk on the wails of the Bahrain Court
                                  House
                                          Down, down Adviser.
                                          Down, down, these Courts of
                                          Injustice .

                                   Inspector of Education.
                                           The second thing that the people
                                  want is the instant dismissal of the

                                  present Inspector of Education. An.
                                  anonymous letter was thrown into his house
                                  containing threats that if he would not "
                                  resign his life will be in danger.
                                  Police.

                                           Amongst their demand is an
                                  increaee of the pay of the Policemen to
                                  Rj.50/- p.m. instead of Ks.25/- as is at-
                                  present. It is also believed that some of'
                                  the high officials of the Polioe are in •
                                  favour of the movement for. reform.
