It has given us much pleasure to learn
from Your Excellency's letter No,638-S dated
11th July 1939 about Rawer Jslanas which formed
part of our territory that it has now been
decided by the High British Government that

these islands belong to the State of Bahrain
andnot to the State of Qatar. We thank the
High British Government for going into this
matter and safeguarding our rights and, by
ths Grace of God, we are satisfied about the

extremely good relations between us and the
High British Government, We note that Your
Excellency has informed the Shaikh of Qatar
and we are very thankful to Your Excellency
