Mkh Abdulla a reply was sont to the petitioners of which a copy is
[dosed. On the day on which the reply v/as sent to them some agitation
iirred in Manama, meetings were held at various Mateins and persons
t*at Mateins and coffee shops taking clown names of all Bahamas who
Wj told that they would be given work at the Oil Company or in various
vernment departments. The men who took down names are v/oll known bad
nructera, one of them has been imprisoned more than once for liquor
fences etc. At the last meetings which were held at the Mateins it was
elded that the petitioners v/ould press for employment of Bahama by
e oil cpmpany, by Mccpes, and in all Government offices and also that
should be insisted that Ibrahalm nl Areyth should be appointed as
admaster of the Manama Boys* School.
