Translation of letter from Shaikh Abdullah,
and Shaikh Ali, the Shia Qadis, dated 3rd
Shawaal, 1353.

Your letter dated 29th Baraadan 1353 arrived.
You stated in it the request from represen­
tatives of a largo number of the inhabitants
of Bahrain for the adoption by the Bahrain
Court of a code similar to the code used in
the Political Agency and that you take our
opinion on this. We thank you and reply
that what you see as being good you should
do and we have no objection to this.
