                  The uarbon copy of tho note was produced from a Government fllo
                  and was identified.    An extract from the witness's diary was road.

                  It was stated that tho conditions agreed upon wore disobeyed and
                  that oortain incidents occurod.
                       17.   A lot tor identified as boing from II. H. the Shaikh dated
                  22 July 1956 addressed to tho Cor.ir.iittoo and handed to tho Secretary

                  at tho Rafaa Palaco in which it stated that tho members of tho
                  Conimitteo would be held personally responsible for any dlsordor
                  that might occur during a strike was produced.     Conimitteo's Notico
                  No.77 was referred to, which ordered an indefinite continuation of
                  tho strike and which was worded in a manner calculated to provoke
                  violence.

                       18.   A cable from tho Committee to a club in Kuwait referring
                  to the Government of Bahrain as "remnants of hated feudalism" was
                  produced. (Exhibit YX).

                       19.   A witness gave evidence as to conversations at Jidda on
                  12 and 15 December with Ibrahim Fakhroo during which Fakhroo gavo the
                  witness tho names of persons who acted as the clerk of tho Committoo
                  at certain times.
                       20.   The Commandant of the State Police identified the written
                  orders received by him from the Adviser on tho evening of 1st November

                   (Exhibit 12) and explained how the orders were carried out.     He
                  spoke of being rung up by Bakr on 1st November, several times, of
                  being threatened by Bakr that if the arrested persons were not
                  released there would be serious trouble on the following day.      Bakr
                  explained that they were needed to attend the meeting of tho

                  Committoo which would arrange about the procession,      Finally the
                  people concerned were released.      Later Ibrahim x?akhroo was arrested.
                  Bakr again rang up the witness demanding Fakhroo's release.      This was
                  refused at which Bakr used violent language stating that tho
                  witness would himself be responsible for anything which might
                  happen next day.    The witness then gave a detailed account of the

                  events which occurred on 2nd November as recorded in tho daily
                  diary  at the Police Headquarters in the Fort whore wireless messages
