^ Regarding our marks B-N on the Bainah Islands,
the letters of course, stand for Bahrain and are
identical to those on the pillars which we put up
many years ago on all the other Bahrain islands such
as tho Hawar group, Jarim etc., etc. Originally
there was a number on each pillar after the letters.
We use those two letters, B-N, as a murk meaning
Bahrain on a variety of objects including some of the
Polico equipment and on arms which are registered
with tho Polico also all Bahrain registered boats carry
the lettersB-N, preceding the number, i.e, BN. 149.
B-N is a recognised mark in this State denoting Bahrain,
it la also used by some commercial firms on their cases.
The letters B-N are uoed in a similar way as U-K (United
Kingdom) or U. S.A. (United States of America.) At times
we write B-N or B/N.
I feel that there is really no need to explain
the letters B-N, whose meaning is perfectly obviousTj
