Execution
Block the opponent’s attack with an uppercut elbow. Aim
for the center of the arm, as this will reduce the e ect of
the opponent’s strike as much as possible. Shift your
weight forward in the process. Follow up with an elbow
or knee kick from the other side of your body. For the
counter to succeed, it is important that you deliver the
uppercut elbow quickly—without hesitation—from the
fight position to the front.
