Congratulating Keith Hall, Jr. for Educational Achievement

Keith Hall, Jr.

Mr. Keith Hall Jr. is a recent graduate of Hillcrest High School in Riverside, CA. Throughout his high school journey,
he proved himself as a multi-talented student-athlete who excelled academically and athletically. He graduated
with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 completing honors and AP classes along with taking postsecondary courses during
the summer at local community colleges.

Keith also played basketball at Hillcrest High School during his sophomore, junior, and senior years. During his
junior campaign, the team tallied a 25-10 record overall, and they were undefeated in the River Valley League
warranting a league championship. Keith was also voted as an all-league player during his 11th grade year.
During his senior year, he was named as co-captain of the varsity basketball team. During a rigorous year and
abbreviated season in uenced by the pandemic and social unrest, he and his teammates achieved a 15-2 record,
and they were 9-1 in the River Valley League translating to another league championship. He ended the season
averaging 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals.

In addition to prioritizing his studies and athletic demands, Keith also served as a lead journalist for the high
school yearbook, and he created his rst podcast entitled, chronicling the Lakers 2020
championship run. He also volunteered at a local food distribution center to provide support for families who
experienced signi cant loss due to the circumstances associated with the pandemic.

This fall, Mr. Keith Hall Jr. will start his collegiate journey at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona
State University. He will major in Sports Journalism and aspires to become an inspiring sports journalist elevating
the stories, contributions, and impact of sports and athletes.
