Dr. Patricia McQueen

Dr. McQueen, founder of Seed of Faith Ministries San Bernardino, was officially
ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 2014, by Bishop Leon Martin, Senior Pastor of Love,
Peace, and Happiness Church in Los Angeles, California; however, she has been working in
ministry for more than 30 years. Furthermore, Dr. McQueen has been an educator for over 25
years, working with at-risk and low educational achievers. Her greatest passion has been to
motivate students to want to learn, teach them how to learn, and help them move into the
mainstream of American education, so they can become responsible and productive members of
our society.

As an educator, Dr. McQueen was concerned about the achievement gap in the national
test scores of Black and White students. She was convinced it was because of the systematic
racism in American society. Therefore, after extensive research into the education of Blacks in
America, Dr. McQueen published a book entitled: The Impact of Slavery on the Academic
Achievement of Black Students Today. This book is a riveting account of the history of the
education of Black Americans. It is a fact based and thought-provoking account of where we
have been, and where we are now as a nation!

In addition, Dr. McQueen has completed a book entitled Discipleship on the Move. This
is a curriculum manual for teaching discipleship for these last days. Discipleship on the Move is
a series of lessons that are designed to help believers in Christ grow in the knowledge of Biblical
Scriptures, so that they become more confident as they discuss their beliefs with others. This
book is the basis for Dr. McQueen’s podcast of the same name. The podcast is aired on YouTube.

Finally, God has led Dr. McQueen to write her newest book, Now I know Why Jesus
Wept. It traces the history of Black people in America from the beginning of the Old Testament
in the Bible up to the time of American Slavery.
Dr. McQueen earned a Master’s degree in Education from California State University,
Pomona, and a PhD in Biblical Studies from Next Dimension University in Rancho Cucamonga,
California. In addition, Dr. McQueen earned a Certificate of Completion from WordWise
Institute of Eschatology in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Dr. McQueen is a mother, grandmother, producer of Gospel music, and entrepreneur.
Some may know Dr. McQueen as a recording artist, “The Word Singer” with several Gospel CDs
to God’s credit.
