6.  What is your assessment regarding current public budgeting/funding issues that the City may be facing
                 and how do you think the City could best respond to these challenges?


                 We are facing a few issues - the State passed a new law that restricts a certain percentage of our property
                 tax. Another impact is how we can collect franchise fees. To digest these new revenue projections, we
                 essentially saved. We have been forced to keep vacancies longer. Every year we have performance pay
                 raises - they eliminated the cost of living pay raises - before it was 5% - now they have reduced it down to
                 3%.
               Communication, Collaboration, and Personnel Management
               7.In terms of communication, what is your approach when working with various levels of stakeholders such
               as management, staff, and your direct reports.


                I do report to the Director but I do create reports for the City Manager  ­ I create something high­level and will
               attached detailed analysis. I manage one of the parking systems in the City­ for each of the parking structures I
               manage I will outline how we generate revenue so it backs up into the summary report. I will meet face to
               face, have meetings or phone calls, if it's something that requires clear instructions and analysis I will meet
               face to face ­ I work better face to face.

               8.  Please describe a situation in which you had influence on increasing the effectiveness of a team of people
                 or a department. What measures did you take to contribute to employee motivation and staff
                 development?


                 Employee motivation and staff development ­ I like to co train various people under me so they have more
                 experience and set them up for the next step. Whether it is in processes or our CRM system ­ then they see
                 I'm a good fit for the next level job. They way that I approach my team ­ my expectation is to keep them for a
                 couple years at the most and I want to help them move up.

               11.  If out of the area – Are you willing to relocate to the Sacramento Area?


                One of my target places to go to is the San Francisco area. As far as job function ­ not a big move.
