The Crazy Dane
While strolling on lovers lane, Tarzan and Jane came upon a
Dane who was ap•par•ent•ly not sane. He was tugging on a
lion's mane, poking the beast with a cane.
But their efforts to save him were in vain. The lion sprung
on the Dane, and quickly the man's life began to wane.
Story 48
Saving His Brain
Cain is a swain living in rural Spain.

He says, "The problem with plane geometry is that it's more
complex than plain. To me this stuff is a physical drain and a big
pain to my overworked brain.
"My efforts to learn have all been in vain. Besides, what can I
gain? Yet I am fain to strain, for otherwise my teacher will split
my brain in twain."
