Derrick got badly scathed,
Cut by the blade of a lathe.
So in iodine his finger had to be bathed.

Then, of course, in a bandage swathed.
Then later un-swathed,

But unhealed, re-swathed.
Then, finally, fully healed,
Once more un-swathed.
