Story 52: Don't Jape the Ape

Although the sign read, “DON'T Jape The

Ape,” the fool, monkeyed the ape, taunting him
with a tasty crepe, striking him with a grape.

Quite angered, the ape yanked his bars plump

out of shape and caught the boy trying to
escape.

With mouths agape, the frightened crowd

watched as the ape convincingly settled the
scrape.

Jape means tease.
