       It is noted that the dwelling is situated in a security estate.
       BASIC EXCESS APPLICABLE TO THE CONTENTS OF THIS DWELLING
       It is noted that the Insured is a bona fide pensioner and resides at this dwelling. No excess is,
       therefore, applicable to any claim made regarding the contents of this dwelling.


       REQUIREMENTS AND WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO SECURITY ESTATES
       It is required and you warrant that the estate in which the dwelling is situated:
       a.  is completely walled and/or fenced in;
       b.  has electrified fencing on top of such wall and/or fence;
       c.  has guards controlling entry and exit to the estate 24 hours per day;
       d.  has roaming guards patrolling the estate, alternatively, the estate is monitored
              by closed circuit television cameras at all times.


       SPECIFIC CONDITIONS AND WARRANTY REGARDING LINKED ALARM WAIVED
       Specific conditions and warranties 1. in the policy wording under this section is hereby deleted in favour of the security measures
       in place at the security estate as warranted above.  It is, therefore, noted that an alarm system linked to an armed response unit is
       not required for this dwelling.

       JEWELLERY, ART AND RARE COLLECTABLE WARRANTY
       It is required and you warrant that:
       a.  any jewellery with a combined value exceeding R150 000 shall at all times while not
          being worn, be kept in a locked safe securely attached to an interior brick or concrete
          wall or floor of the dwelling or such other place you might be resident at;
       b.  you have a valuation certificate, obtained prior to loss or damage, from a recognised
          expert attesting to the value of any jewellery, work of art or rare collectible worth more
          than R20 000.



       LOCKED COMPARTMENT REQUIREMENT FOR CELL PHONES AND PORTABLE COMPUTER AND PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT
       It is required and you warrant that any cell phone, any portable computer equipment or photographic equipment left in an
       unattended vehicle, will be concealed in a locked compartment of such a vehicle. If any cell phone, portable computer
       equipment or photographic equipment is left overnight in a vehicle, it is required and you warrant that such a vehicle will
       be kept in a locked building.
       INCLUSION OF EARTHQUAKE CAUSED BY MINING ACTIVITIES AS INSURED PERIL
       General exception 9.15 on page 14 of the policy wording is hereby deleted in as far as it applies to this section.  As a result of
       this deletion, an earthquake that results directly or indirectly from mining activities will no longer be a general exception.  Cover remains
       subject to the particular terms and conditions of this section and the policy wording as a whole.


       SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT FOR TYPE OF SAFE IN WHICH JEWELLERY IS KEPT
       The policy wording requires in the special conditions and warranties (“3. Jewellery, art and rare collectible warranty”) to this
       section that jewellery with a combined value exceeding R150 000 should be locked in a safe.  Such a safe must comply with the
       SABS Category 2ADM specifications.  If it does not comply, our liability for loss of or damage to jewellery from or in a safe (as
       required by this special condition) will be limited to R500 000 per event.
