INCLUSION OF EARTHQUAKE CAUSED BY MINING ACTIVITIES AS INSURED PERIL
General exception 9.15 on page 14 of the policy wording is hereby deleted in as far as it applies to this section. As a result of
this deletion, an earthquake that results directly or indirectly from mining activities will no longer be a general exception. Cover remains
subject to the particular terms and conditions of this section and the policy wording as a whole.

DETERMINATION OF THE VALUE OF NON-FACTORY FITTED ACCESSORIES
a. Any non-factory fitted accessories must be specified to enjoy cover under this section of the policy.
b. We will apply depreciation on the new replacement value of non-factory fitted accessories as follows in the event of a claim:
i. accessories less than 3 years old - no depreciation
ii. accessories older than 3 years, but newer than 4 years - 30% depreciation
iii. accessories older than 4 years, but newer than 5 years - 40% depreciation
iv. accessories older than 5 years, but newer than 6 years - 50% depreciation
v. accessories older than 6 years, but newer than 7 years - 60% depreciation
vi. accessories older than 7 years - 70% depreciation
c. If you cannot prove the age of the accessories to our satisfaction, we will ascribe the age of the vehicle
to the accessories for purposes of calculating depreciation.
d. We will pay the lesser of the sum insured in the schedule or the value of the accessories after depreciation has been applied.
