BASIC EXCESSES APPLICABLE TO THIS VEHICLE

spouse/life partner of the Insured drives the vehicle or is in control of the vehicle at the time of an event:
a. Loss of or damage to the body of the vehicle - No excess applicable
b. Loss of or damage to specified accessories - No excess applicable
c. Damage to standard glass - replacement - No excess applicable
d. Damage to standard glass - repairs - No excess applicable
ADDITIONAL EXCESSES APPLICABLE TO THIS VEHICLE
The following excesses will apply in addition to the basic excesses stated above:
a. Loss of or damage to the body of the vehicle when someone else than the
Insured or spouse/life partner of the Insured drives the vehicle or is in
control of the vehicle at the time of an event - 5% of the claim, minimum R 2 500
b. Driver at the time of the event younger than 21 years old - R 2 500
c. Driver at the time of the event younger than 26 years old - R 1 500
d. Driver at the time of the event holding a driver's licence less than 24 months - R 1 000
e. If the driver restriction for a vehicle is indicated as “named drivers only”, and
a driver not named in the schedule drives the vehicle at the time of an event - 10% of the claim, minimum R10 000

WARRANTIES AND ENDORSEMENTS
INTEREST OF THE FINANCIER
The interest of the financier noted under the vehicle above:
a. ranks prior to your interest;
b. is limited to the outstanding balance on the credit agreement on the vehicle;
c. will not be invalidated by your act or omission that occurs without the financier’s knowledge.
We may, on demand of the financier, first pay compensation for a claim to them up to the amount
of their interest and then pay any remaining amount to you.
