BASIC EXCESS APPLICABLE TO THIS TRAILER
It is noted that the Insured is a bona fide pensioner and, therefore, no excess is applicable when:
a. the Insured
b. his/her spouse or life partner
is in custody or control of the trailer or driving the towing vehicle at the time of an event leading to a claim.
ADDITIONAL EXCESSES APPLICABLE TO THIS TRAILER
The following excesses will apply in addition to the basic excesses stated above:
a. Loss of or damage to the body of the trailer when someone else
than the Insured or spouse/life partner of the Insured drives the towing
vehicle or is in control of the caravan at the time of an event - 10% of the claim, minimum R 1 000
b. Driver of the towing vehicle at the time of the event younger than 21 years old - R 2 500
c. Driver of the towing vehicle at the time of the event younger than 26 years old - R 1 500
d. Driver of the towing vehicle at the time of the event holding a driving licence
less than 24 months - R 1 000
e. If the driver restriction for a vehicle is indicated as “named drivers only”, and
a driver not named in the schedule drives the vehicle at the time of an event - 10% of the claim, minimum R10 000
f. Loss of or damage to contents specified under this section when someone else
than the Insured or spouse/life partner of the Insured drives the towing vehicle
vehicle or is in control of the trailer at the time of an event - 10% of the claim, minimum R 1 000

INCLUSION OF EARTHQUAKE CAUSED BY MINING ACTIVITIES AS INSURED PERIL
General exception 9.15 on page 14 of the policy wording is hereby deleted in as far as it applies to this section. As a result of
this deletion, an earthquake that results directly or indirectly from mining activities will no longer be a general exception. Cover remains
subject to the particular terms and conditions of this section and the policy wording as a whole.
