I cross the canyon rims with ease,
I lay my track with care

I play among the pinion pine,

                                                  I shun the Prickly pear

                                               I run through raging rivers,

                                                 I climb the highest peaks

I sit alone in summer rain,
I sit in washed out little creeks

                                               I Challenge every weakness,

                                                 I've never gone untested

I can steal away your courage

                                                 I've never yet been bested

                                                 I live within the shadows

                                                  I sing my nightly songs

I was here before you settled

I'll be here when you're gone

Note: I felt Mr. Wolf's thoughts would be all about him, that is the reason
