When I was younger, I believed the
misconception taught that to be fruitful was to have
children. It was not until I understood that in
Hebrew, the term means to produce something or
to be productive. It doesn’t just mean having
children. God said,“First, you have to be fruitful.”
Quick question: What is a fruit?
Being fruitful means, whatever is on the inside
of the tree (in the DNA, what God designed a thing
to be) has come out to the open. Notice how God
did not ask us to look for fruit, indicating that it is in
our very nature to be fruitful, which brings us to the
four principles of dominion.
The first principle is to find a problem that needs
to be solved, one that you can uniquely solve and
become fruitful in your endeavor. For example,
Blake Mycoskie desired to see the lives of children
and their parents changed. So he used TOMS to
accomplish that and make that desire fruitful.
