Quick question: If TOMS only made one shoe,
would they have accomplished their mission? The
answer is no. There is another principle of
dominion.
The next principle is to multiply! Multiply means
to reproduce the fruit. Mycoskie’s company
increased (multiplied) their shoes by using two
business methods: quantitative and qualitative
projections. Quantitative projections involve how
many shoes they can sell for a particular design.
Whereas, the qualitative projections include how
many shoes they can sell for each model—like
sneakers, slippers, boots, dress shoes, and sandals.
Now, let me ask you a quick question: If TOMS had
250 shoes in their warehouse, would they have
accomplished their mission? The answer is no,
because there again is another principle to be
enacted.
The next principle is to replenish! The
term, replenish, means to fill up. In business, you
must have a distribution channel in place. TOMS
