imagination, and in the business world, it is called

              vision.

Mycoskie did not want to have a non-profit

organization because he wanted it to be self-

sustaining, and the non- profit sector depends on

donors. Instead of asking for handouts, he wanted

to be self-sufficient by selling a product that was in
              demand.

That said, Mycoskie created a for-profit business

with a charitable twist, which revolutionized the way

people do business. In the business sector, they call

              this a double bottom-line business. A double

bottom-line business implies that the company is

focused more on people rather than profits.

The business sector also calls people who start

businesses like TOMS social entrepreneurs, a

person who establishes an enterprise to solve social

problems or effect social change. When TOMS

became well known, many people created different

companies with similar missions: to help society.
