Membership
Introduction
General Members – 155
Prospective Members – 85
We had members from 8 out of 9 faculties in the university. Due to the location of the Faculty of
Allied Health Sciences and its hostels, we had an extremely low number of members from there.
Plan for the year
Formation of a membership and a director board that consists of active members from all 9 faculties
of the university.
Attract more members from the Faculty of Allied Health Science and hopefully include a student in
the director board in the next term.

Awarding Rotaractors of the month and initiating the annual Awards Ceremony.
Giving the Organizing committees opportunities to talk about the success of their projects in the
weekly meetings.

Holding fellowship events to improve the bond among members.
Elevate Rotaract Policy
Introduction
Having to collect a membership fee is a tough challenge for us. None of the clubs in the University
collects a membership fee from their members and if we are to do this, we will need special
permission from the Vice-Chancellor as well.
Therefore, a fund raising project was implemented to cover a part of the membership fees. Club
T-shirts were sold keeping a profit and this profit will be used to cover the membership fee.
Note: The year plan signed by the President of sponsoring Rotary club at the beginning of the year is
annexed to this report.
