He never said His kingdom is not "in"
this world. He intended His way-God's

way-of running the world to be very
much in this world. But with regard to its
origin and way of functioning, in Luke 9:

23, Jesus says, if you want to follow me,
one has to deny him/herself and carry

the cross daily.

To carry the cross daily means to stand
with Jesus and the values that He
teaches us. The values of His kingdom.

The kingdom Jesus announced is of God,
not of the notions of hierarchy, dominat-

ing force, and homicidal power that
equips the kingdoms and empires from

this world. Carrying the cross challenges,
us, to deny our selsh motives to acquire,

to accumulate, to dominate, to control,
and work towards a new world order
based on acceptance, humility, healing,

reconciliation, restoration, justice, and
love. The kingdom Jesus announced nur-

tures fellowship, love, co-operation,
mutual respect, and understanding.

Following this new order/kingdom,
means to resist the empires and all the

motives of the empires, in which most of
the time our silence and self is glued.

Jesus calls us to change, repent and
work towards this new world order

based on Justice, Peace and Equality....
