In a few minutes, they were in through the back door

of the concert hall and into the wings, watching long

pink legs in ballet shoes, their hearts beating fast.

Mirabel was shocked to see Twinkle run out onto the

stage and start dancing, in the middle of a performance!

Mirabel had been to many concerts, and knew how to

behave there. She was worried for Twinkle, who seemed

to have grown very tall and was doing high jumps in a

green dress. She seemed to know how to dance and no

one was surprised that she was there. This Twinkle

seems to have a lot of magic powers, thought Mirabel.

Then Twinkle came and took Mirabel's hand and they

both went on stage to dance. They were once more up in

the air, flying almost, doing splits and pirouettes to the

music of Tchaikovsky. When the audience started to
cheer, the girls took a deep bow with the others and ran

off stage.
