Shrimp with Spicy Bean Sauce Udang Sambal

           Ground  bean  sauce  has  a  very  particular  and  pungent  aroma,  lending  a  full-bodied
           saltiness and rich brown color to dishes. Fresh shrimp quickly stir-fried with spices
           and a bean sauce will liven up a meal with little effort or time. Bean sauce is readily
           available in Asian grocery stores, usually found in the same aisle as soy sauce. It’s
           thick and rich, making it a powerful ingredient, so a little goes a long way. Though this
           dish is finger-licking delicious, it does have a strong flavor. I would recommend this

           to those already familiar with Indonesia’s bold culinary textures and tastes.
