1 Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds.
2 Over a large mixing bowl, use the serrated end of a melon baller to scrape the flesh
of the cantaloupe into long strips. It’s very important to do this over the bowl to ensure
that you catch as much of the juice as possible. A beautifully ripened melon will
produce a lot of juice as you scrape out the flesh.
3 Add the ice-cold water and rose syrup. Stir thoroughly and serve on crushed ice in a
tall serving glass or chill for a couple of hours and serve.
