P&H Quality Control Plan
An effective QA/QC Program begins with key elements.
At P&H, we start out with a clear understanding of what we need to achieve in our
QA/QC plan:
Clear Product Specifications
Product specifications are clearly defined and linked to customer requirements.
PFMEA
A PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) has been conducted on
all process steps, and the team fully
understands the quality risks
associated with each step.
Effective Measurement Methods
and Reaction Plans
Process and product measurement
methods are clearly defined and
repeatable.
Internal Audit
Internal audits help us maintain
control plan discipline. P&H’s
internal audits are based on:
o Our SOP (standard operating
procedure) outlines control plan responsibilities such as maintaining and
following control plans.
o An internal audit calendar that shows which production areas will be
audited at specific times throughout the year.
o Management review of audit findings.
