Product Testing
P&H Casters has the ability to test our products in-house using a variety of testing
platforms that allow us to verify fit, function, durability and the feasibility of new and
existing products. We routinely test at every stage of production, from initial design to
manufacturing as part of our Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program.
Every model of product that we
sell has passed both real world
tests of durability and rigorous in-
house tests that include static and
dynamic load tests, impact
testing, bearing performance
evaluations, wheel durometer
(hardness) tests, calibration
testing, adhesion testing and
manual cart push/pull tests.
In addition to in-house testing,
P&H periodically has products
tested and evaluated by
independent laboratories
including Consumer Testing
Laboratories and Building
Research Establishment, Ltd. in
Europe.
More detailed information regarding some of the specific P&H testing in-house testing
procedures follows. In addition to these, we can perform additional tests if required
including chemical composition analyses, microhardness profile and various structural
testing protocols.
Specific products are often subjected to special tests designed to simulate the specific
conditions that the products will be subjected to, or the product is tested in live
conditions in the field.
